vs. BMW & Audi Near Dallas TX

Learn How the Sports Sedan Compares to its McKinney Rivals

At FIAT of McKinney, we know that you have an almost overwhelming number of options when you're looking to purchase a luxurious new sedan in the Allen, Plano, Frisco and Lucas, TX areas -- including our favorite, the stylish Alfa Romeo Giulia. How, then, to decide which is the vehicle that best suits your particular set of wishes and needs? Fortunately, we've put together these handy comparisons to help you see how the Giulia stacks up against its local competitors.

Alfa Romeo Giulia vs. BMW 3 Series

While the BMW 3 Series does start at a lower Manufacturer's Suggested Price, it doesn't come close to offering the same level of amenities as does the Giulia. The Giulia includes such standard features as high-intensity discharge headlights, power folding mirrors, remote engine start, backup camera, rear parking assist, universal garage door opener, leather seats, power front seats with lumbar support and a pass-through rear seat. If you select the BMW, you'll either have to pay extra for these amenities or go without them at all.

The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that comes standard in the Giulia manufactures 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, numbers that dominate the 180 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque that the BMW's standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder manages. Now add in the fact that the Giulia delivers better EPA-estimated city fuel efficiency, and it's clear that the Alfa Romeo's performance bests the BMW's when and where you need it -- on the road and at the gas pump.

Alfa Romeo Giulia vs. Audi A4

Comparing all-wheel drive equipped models shows that the two vehicles hardly differ in terms of their Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, with the Giulia shaving about $300 off the price of the Audi. Again, the Giulia offers standard features that either aren't available on the Audi, or are only offered at an added cost. These include such safety features as an anti-theft system with alarm, rear parking aid and side airbags, as well as interior and exterior amenities like power driver and passenger seats with lumbar support, remote engine start, power driver mirror and  heated mirrors.

Once again, the competition gets left in the dust when we're talking about engine performance. The Giulia boasts a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that teams with an eight-speed automatic transmission to generate 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, while the A4 comes with a standard 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that pairs to a seven-speed automatic transmission to produce 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.
